Sales Representative position

Intellectual Alliance Inc. (IAI), established February 1997 in Ontario, Canada, is a research, development and manufacturing company, specializing in applied science and innovative technological development based on a plasma vacuum technology and related nanotechnologies. IAI develops projects and products in a field of carbon nanotechnology and technologies and services in nanocoating services, mainly advanced Diamond-like-Carbon (DLC). IAI produces DLC coatings for different applications, including: metalforming, cutting, metalworking and plastic processing tools, oil and gas industry equipment, injection and extrusion processes, industrial and consumer parts and goods. IAI’s DLC custom coating technology, tailored to industry applications, is unique in Canada. IAI initiated industrial development and commercial exploitation of this technology in Canada.
Initially as the stand-alone driver of sales, this position will be responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing, managing a business unit to maximize profitability. The ideal candidate will have the scope and vision to understand what drives demand in industry and to develop a strategy.

Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients in different sectors of industries
- Introduce products where applicable and identify opportunities to maximize market share
- Ensure all client interactions, transactions and business processes are fulfilled with the highest level of customer service and professionalism
Job Requirements
- Must have minimum of three years’ sales experience, preferably selling to oil&gas sector, manufacturing companies, large and medium valve, pump, shaft, bushings production and/or service companies
- Passion for customer service and new business development is required
- Must have the ability to work flexible business hours
The ideal candidate will have all or some of the following skills and attributes:
- Sales experience in industries
- Education in metallurgy and/or oil&gas industry and/or plastic processing
- Knowledge of plasma vacuum technologies, coating properties and applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ambition & motivation
- Thrives under pressure and deadlines
